I grew up on lakes in cottage country Ontario, but it wasn't until I spent a summer teaching sailing in the Bahamas when I fell in love with the ocean. Especially the effect it had on my hair.  

I tried well-known beach wave hair sprays but the effect wasn’t the same, and they left my hair feeling dry and brittle with repeated use due to their alcohol content.

I knew I had to figure out how to bottle the Salty feeling you get after spending a day in the water.

I used my chemical engineering background and dove into developing the perfect formula – a naturally-derived sea salt spray using real, filtered and concentrated ocean water with hydrating and thickening plant gels.

We're now growing to add more hair products to our lineup that all support our mission of creating the ultimate in windswept, effortless, just-left-the-beach hair, while remaining committed to naturally-derived, ocean-inspired products that are good your health and the health of our planet.
